How to Get a Raise!

After “The Ultimate Motivated Employee!”, I had planned to write a different book, one more geared for the employees.  After a few fits and starts, I completed “How to Get a Raise! 7 Steps to a Higher Paycheck”.  With all the discussion going on about the minimum wage in this country, I decided to add my two cents worth concerning the single, most effective way to avoid being personally involved in the issue – don’t STAY at minimum wage.

Over the years, as a business owner who approved raises and as an employee, who sought them, I came to several specific conclusions.  One of those is that many employees don’t truly understand what it takes to get a pay hike. If you don’t understand it, you’ll have trouble doing it. So, I wrote “How to Get a Raise!”

I made it a low-priced eBook so that anyone could afford it and I wrote, somewhat humorously, about the exact steps employees need to take to get the boss’s attention and land a pay raise. I have fond hopes that it will help some folks see the light and better themselves, regardless of whether they are a new-hire or a veteran employee.
